Yverdon-les-Bains, nicknamed the “Cité Thermale” for its thermal springs and spa, is full of places to discover and surprises for your visit. With its pedestrian lanes in the town center, its iconic Place Pestalozzi, its lakeside and the surprising Clendy menhirs, this town of just over 30,000 inhabitants is sure to surprise you. A number of cafés and small shops offer gourmet breaks, including Café de la Promenade and the Chez Lili-Rose tea room.

The village of Romainmôtier and its abbey church are one of the region’s must-see places . Right in the heart of the Vallon du Nozon, this village has been voted one of the most beautiful in Switzerland.

Orbe is a town of almost 8,000 inhabitants. It has a rich history, particularly in Roman times, with many remains still visible today at the Roman Villa d’Orbe-Boscéaz site. Nine Roman mosaics are on display to the public in this exceptional archaeological site.
In town, the esplanade du Château with its round tower, the narrow streets, including the colorful Rue des Moulinets, and the Chemin des Présidents along the L’Orbe river offer the perfect escape between history and nature.
Around Orbe, you’ll discover an agricultural region, including the Côtes de l’Orbe vineyards, where the work of local artisans contributes to shaping magnificent landscapes and top-quality wines.

This small town north of Lake Neuchâtel has many nooks and crannies to explore on a stroll. With its narrow streets full of character, various educational panels will help you learn more about the local history.
A pleasant walk entitled “Grandson à petits pas” (Grandson in small steps) takes you on a tour of Grandson’s landmarks, in addition to the emblematic Château de Grandson.
Last but not least, a stroll along the lakeshore will allow you to discover the local gastronomy in one or other of the lakeside restaurants, with fishing from the lake or wines from the AOC Bonvillars vineyards.
