Founded in 1986 by Gérald Baudat and Jean-Daniel Gauthey, the Cave was entirely taken over by the latter in 1994. The arrival of Frédéric Gauthey in 2008 marked a turning point in the history of the estate, which he took over in full in 2017.

Situated on the Côtes de l’Orbe terroir, this family estate covers 5 hectares. The vines are mainly cultivated using the guyot system, with the exception of 0.5 hectares grown on gobelets.

The vines are worked entirely by hand, with meticulous attention paid to each leaf. The grapes are harvested in the traditional way, using traditional methods. Vinification takes place in enamelled vats, truncated-cone vats and oak barrels, ensuring the quality and richness of the wines produced.
