Two walks through Orbe and its past

Add to favorites
Two routes marked by small red and yellow steps take visitors on a journey of discovery through the town and its history.

In around 1h30, the red circuit guides the walker from the Place du Marché to the Chemin des Présidents at the bottom of the town, passing by the main historic buildings. It’s an opportunity to discover an atmosphere that’s both urban and natural. If you’re lucky, you might even spot a kingfisher along the river.

The yellow route concentrates on the city center and offers a 45-minute tour, also departing from the Place du Marché. The tour also includes the castle esplanade, the sentry walk and the old abbey.
