Every year in Orbe, the ‘Sausage and Cabbage Festival’ celebrates this Vaud speciality and papet vaudois. Over several days, the event takes over the Place du Marché and various locations around the town, featuring meals, entertainment, concerts and stalls selling local produce.
For this 20th edition, the programme promises to be varied. Wednesday evening kicks off with a gala evening and the launch of the IGP Cabbage-Stuffed Sausage Guild, in the company of Philippe Ligron.
On Thursday evening, a performance by Simon Romang, *Planchette*, as well as a concert by Les Sales Gosses on Friday evening, will take place beneath the canteen on the Place du Marché. Entertainment and activities are also on offer over the weekend, across the Place du Marché, the Esplanade du Château and the Grand-Rue.
Papet vaudois and sausage with cabbage can be sampled beneath the canteen or at partner restaurants. Sausages with cabbage are also available to take away.

On Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, bookings are required.
