Covering just under 24 hectares, the Domaine du Manoir extends over the Côtes de l’Orbe and Bonvillars appellations (AOC).
South-facing and on a slope, the Domaine du Manoir vines benefit from good sunshine. Clay-limestone soils provide ideal nutrition for a large variety of grapes, such as Chardonnay, Gamay, Pinot Noir, Gamaret, Garanoir and Merlot.
In the 1960s, Domaine du Manoir was bought by Alfred Oulevay and René Geissmann, entrepreneurs who were passionate about wine, who already owned an estate in Morges and another in Vétroz, Valais. In 2009, descendants of the two men created the brand “Les Trois Terres”, which bottles the wines from the three vineyards, including Domaine du Manoir. Head winemaker, Michel Hostettler, is responsible for producing 6 quality wines.
In the cellar, a room with 10 seats and two rooms of 40 seats each are available for tastings, by appointment.
