La Maison Rose was built in 1902 and has been producing wine for at least 5 generations. Historically, the estate produced for the Cave des 13 Coteaux cooperative, but it was in 1986 that the “Domaine de la Maison Rose” wine was born.
Nicolas Bovet took over the estate in 2003 and thus began the transition to biodiversity, with new grape varieties including the pinot blanc-chardonnay blend, and Divico from 2015. In addition, Cabernet Noir and Vbcal 1-28 were replanted in 2020.
The estate covers 1.75 hectares, with 20% white and 80% red, and produces the following wines: Chasselas, Chasselas Barrique, Le Chant du Vigneron (Pinot Blanc-Chardonay blend), Rosé de Gamay, Fantaisie (sparkling), Gamay, Gamay Barrique, Pinot Noir, Gamaret, Garanoir, Assemblage Gamay – Garanoir, Divico, Divico Barrique, Le Chant des Tonneliers (Gamaret-Gamay Barrique blend).
All the wines are vinified by Œnologie à Facon, except for the Chant des Vignerons, which is vinified by Bernard Gauthey.
The cellar can accommodate up to 30 people, and is open on Saturdays from 10am to 12pm and by appointment.
