Cave du Château de Valeyres

Add to favorites
La cave du Château de Valeyres is located in the village of Valeyres-sous-Rances in the heart of the Côtes de l’Orbe vineyards. Managed by Benjamin Morel, who works closely with Frédéric Hostettler, the cellar offers traditional and quality wines.

Benjamin Morel, who has a background in viticulture and oenology, took over the estate in 2004, after several years travelling the wine world. With the aim of developing the quality of his wines and making the most of the Côtes de l’Orbe terroir, he made some radical choices.

He joined forces with Frédéric Hostettler, a master winemaker and oenologist. Thanks to their combined skills, they created the “Confidentiel” range of more complex wines.

The cellar is open on Saturday mornings and during the week by appointment. Tastings are held in the Carnotzet, which seats 30 people. The cellar is open for sales and tastings every Saturday morning from 8am to 12.30pm.

Authentic top-of-the-range wines, produced and matured by passionate winemakers, and a warm welcome are the hallmarks of the Château de Valeyres philosophy.
