Café du Commerce in Grandson is one of Switzerland’s only restaurants where the gluten- and lactose-intolerant can happily enjoy traditional dishes without unpleasant surprises. Fish and meat are prepared with care, while the vast variety of burgers leaves guests the choice between bread with or without gluten.

The very dynamic boss, Pierre Châtelain, regularly organises theme or seasonal events and menus. All products are the chef’s own, including the sauces and the gluten-free bread. The advantageous dishes of the day are served Monday through Friday, while a menu card offering a dozen chef’s suggestions is changed weekly.

Café-Restaurant du Commerce also offers a catering service and invites its customers to laze on its terrace, upon the arrival of the warmer days.
