By taking this itinerary along the foot of the Jura mountains between Grandson and Orbe riders can escape into a pastoral landscape of the charming wine-producing villages of the Côtes de l’Orbe AOC vineyards, complete with the extraordinary panorama of the Alps in the background.
The route follows SuisseMobile route number 487. SuisseMobile route number 50 offers an alternative way of returning to Yverdon-les-Bains (see the map).
