Piano recital – Dominic Chamot

The talented pianist Dominic Chamot will perform the following works:
‎

– 6 Polish songs by Chopin, transcribed by Liszt for solo piano: Souhait d’une jeune fille – Printemps – La petite Bague – Bacchanale – Mes Joies – Le Retour au Pays.
– The Sonata for piano in B minor, S. 178, a masterpiece for solo piano by Franz Liszt, composed between 1852 and 1853. Full of light and shade, it is extremely difficult to perform.
– Variations on a theme by Corelli, composed by Sergei Rachmaninov in 1931. True mirrors of the composer’s soul, they so successfully reflect the melancholy that marked his life.
– For all audiences.
– Maurice Ravel’s La Valse, a choreographic poem for orchestra, composed between 1919 and 1920. We will hear the piano version.
