The brass ensemble DIX DE CUIVRE, consisting of ten brass players and a percussionist, was founded in 1990 in the Lausanne area (Switzerland). For more than 34 years, they have met purely for pleasure from September to May to prepare the programme for the half-dozen concerts they give each season.
In 33 seasons, DIX DE CUIVRE has given over 200 concerts, mainly in Switzerland, but also in France and Italy. The ensemble has also collaborated with choral formations and vocal soloists in religious and lyrical programmes.
Since its foundation, the ensemble has been under the musical direction of Michel BURNAND, who also acts as arranger for some pieces of the repertoire.

An eclectic programme ranging from Renaisssance to jazz standards. With Swiss composers such as Mario Bürki, Marc Jeanbourquin and Christofer Borloz.
