On Saturday 25 May 2024, the town of Orbe will celebrate the 600th anniversary of the Pont du Moulinet with a rich and varied programme. The festivities will begin with an official ceremony, followed by an aperitif offered to all participants. Special buses from the Fédération Vaudoise des Entrepreneurs will transport visitors, who will also be able to discover the stands of the Pro Urba Foundation and the Via Francigena. Craftsmen will be showcasing historic trades such as stone-cutting, blacksmithing, masonry and carpentry. The event will also include an original wheelbarrow race and parade, in homage to the builders. To add to the atmosphere, a bar and light food options will be available, accompanied by musical entertainment with Brice.
