Housed in a building dating from 1930, the Cinéma Royal offers enthusiasts of the large screen a warm and authentic ambiance. Every week, four different films are on offer to the public. The films are carefully selected with the aim of appealing to and suiting a varied audience, and a large number of cinema-goers follow the programme faithfully.
Mme Adeline Stern, who is very active on the regional cultural scene and runs the Cinéma Royal, organizes, together with her team, different events throughout the year. A Short Film Evening, a theme-based evening, a preview evening, meetings between film makers and celebrities and the Film Festival form part of the numerous activities on offer to the public. There is also a children’s programme in the framework of the Magic Lantern.
