Terra Salina

The Via Salina offers six hiking and cycling trails that combine the discovery of natural heritage and cultural diversity of the Jura Arc. It leads from the Royal Saltworks of Arc-et-Senans to the city of Bern, through to the Great Saltworks of Salins-les-Bains, the heritage of Courbet in Ornans, the panoramic village of Sainte-Croix and the Museum of Music Boxes and Automatons, the thermal spa town of Yverdon-les-Bains, the UNESCO towns of La Chaux-de-Fonds and Le Locle, the asphalt mines in the Val-de-Travers, the salt mines in Bex and finally the Swiss Saltworks in Basel with their unique Swiss salt museum.
