The domain of Champ-Pittet, built by the governor Haldimand, is composed of an eighteenth century residence classified as an historic monument and forty hectares of forests, marshes and gardens.
Owned by the Swiss organization for the protection of nature, Pro Natura, the domain now incorporates an environmental centre promoting the protection of the natural environment and of the Grande Cariçaie nature reserve in particular.
The group and team-building activities on offer represents opportunities to strengthen bonds and commit to protecting nature. The restaurant at the Centre serves a seasonal regional cuisine inside or on its magnificent terrace. On request, special menus can be prepared for private or professional groups. For cultural events, banquets or conferences, three rooms can accommodate up to eighty people: the Haldimand Room (80 m2), the Blue Room (35 m2) and the Orange Room (25 m2).
– The restaurant is vegetarian.
– Open from March to October, 10am to 5pm (kitchen: 12pm to 1.30pm).
– Closed on Mondays.
