This mountain bike route, accessible to all, links some of the region’s iconic mountain chalets. It’s a great way to combine sporting activities, discovering the region and culinary delights.
The 22 kilometres of trails take visitors on a journey through the varied and typical landscapes of the Balcon du Jura. The summit of the Chasseron, the highest point of the walk, offers a magnificent panorama of the Alps.

Route accessible from Sainte-Croix station. By car, you can use the Replans, Planets or Cluds car parks.
The route is not signposted. It is therefore advisable to bring a good topographical map or download the route on this page in GPX format.
Please observe the following safety rules and recommendations:

Show respect: give way to pedestrians. Before overtaking, make sure your presence has been noticed.

Protect yourself: wear appropriate protective equipment. Plan your route and wear weather-appropriate clothing.

Stay on the trails: take account of any seasonal restrictions.

Respect the environment: pay attention to the flora and fauna. Don’t drive over flowering plants, mushrooms or meadows. Close fences.

Leave no trace: don’t throw your rubbish in the countryside.
