Starting from the Grange-Neuve chalet-restaurant, the steady slope winds its way up the western side of the Suchet passing close to the high pasture of Noirvaux. After a first summit surmounted by a cross, the hiker reaches the highest point of the excursion with its panoramic view extending across a vast area, from Lake Geneva to Lake Neuchâtel. The hike continues along the ridge trail and passes the Suchet chalet-restaurant before returning along a steeper path through the forest to the point of departure. Parking is possible in Grange-Neuve.
