Starting from Villars-Burquin, the Sentier Tévenol is a circular educational trail situated halfway between Lake Neuchâtel and the Jura. It passes through the four villages of the commune of Tévenon – Fontanezier, Romairon, Vaugondry and Villars-Burquin – and offers views of Yverdon-les-Bains and the surrounding area in places.
The 11 information points along the trail cover various aspects of the region: around ten species of bird, natural habitats, as well as the history, heritage and economic activities of the villages and their inhabitants. Four of the information points are fitted with wooden panels displaying information on site.
There are four wooden panels at stations 1, 5, 9 and 10, which can be opened to reveal the theme of the site. The seven other stations on the trail are marked on the ground by a wooden marker with a number on top.
