Medium-difficulty loop on the Plateau des Granges, a few hundred metres from the French-Swiss border. The route starts at La Grand’Borne, which sits on both sides of the border, passes through the L’Auberson Nordic Centre and alternates between fir forests, pastures, climbs and descents. It skirts the Mouille de La Vraconnaz nature reserve, one of the last peat bogs in the canton of Vaud. The hidden side of the Chasseron (1608 m) comes into view along the way. A stop is possible at the Refuge de la Gare d’Olten.
