A mythical mountain in the Jura chain, the Chasseron rises to 1607m. The site has been known as a place of ancient worship since the mid-18th century, thanks to the discovery of Roman coins. Following archaeological excavations, five explanatory panels have been installed to help visitors understand the history of the site.
