Starting from Grandson, you follow the lake of Neuchâtel. There are beaches inviting you to swim, so let yourself be tempted! In Concise, stop in the old town and at the port.
As you move away from the lake, you cross the battlefield where Charles the Bold and the Confederates fought in 1476 during the Burgundian Wars. Today the atmosphere is peaceful and you ride along quiet roads ideal for cycling.
The return journey takes you through the vineyards of the Bonvillars region and typical winegrowing villages such as Champagne.
Once back in Grandson, you can stroll through the medieval town and visit the castle built in the 13th century, which houses a collection of weapons and armour as well as a historical museum on the Burgundian Wars.
