A walk through Orbe and its past – Yellow route

To explore Orbe, its history and its culture, there are two signposted routes, inin yellow and red, winding through the streets of the town centre.

The route is designed for visitors wishing to explore the heart of the city centre. Starting at the Place du Marché, this 45-minute walk takes you on a discovery tour of the town’s jewels. On the programme, the castle esplanade offers breathtaking views, the chemin de ronde invites you to take a historical stroll, and the old abbey reveals its centuries-old secrets, among other fascinating sites included on the tour.

On request, the Agence ADNV / Office du Tourisme du Nord vaudois organises guided tours of the town along the same routes.

The two tours :

– Red route: 1h30
– Yellow route: 45 minutes
