The Yverdon-les-Bains Triathlon will take place this year on 13 and 14 September 2025. Organised by the town of Yverdon-les-Bains since 2011, it features on the national triathlon calendar. The event has grown steadily over the years, with almost 1,000 people taking part in recent editions. However, the Cité Thermale Triathlon makes a point of preserving the popular and inclusive values it stands for, with ‘Sprint Distance’ and ‘Super Sprint Distance’ categories open to everyone, as well as shorter, non-competitive formats for younger athletes and families.
What’s more, the triathlon has been awarded the Unified label. Developed by Special Olympics Switzerland (SOSWI), this programme gives people with disabilities access to sports clubs and events.
