THE WYSAM

This endurance event is one of the 50 best cyclosportives in the world, according to “Le Cycle” magazine. It requires solid preparation, both physically and mentally: “It’s all in the mind”, says Danilo Wyss.
Created in 1999 by Samuel Wyss under the name WYSAM 333, the event quickly became known for its ultra-challenging nature. It’s true that 333km is an unusual distance, but that’s what has made it so famous. Over the course of 17 editions, the event has been masterfully organized by successive committees. In 2020, Vélo Club Orbe was lucky enough to take over the organization of this cyclosportive, a merger between two strong entities active in cycling in our magnificent city of Orbe.
In 2024, after celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2022, LA WYSAM returns with NEW routes starting from the Place du Château, in keeping with the concept that has made our event such a success. Three routes will cover the famous distances of 333 / 222 / 111 km. Following on from last year’s success, a kids’ race for 2 to 8 year-olds and a family stroll are open to all, enabling you to discover Orbe and the surrounding region.
