In 2024, Sainte-Croix / Les Rasses has the pleasure of inaugurating a new mountain bike route: Le Tour des Alpages. This 22-kilometre route will take you around the legendary summit of Le Chasseron to discover the typical landscapes of the Balcon du Jura and its magnificent views of the Alps.
To celebrate the creation of this new route, Sainte-Croix / Les Rasses is pleased to invite you to take part in a gourmet walk on 22 June 2024. The 7 alpine chalets and restaurants along the route will be delighted to show you their specialities and the rich local produce of the region.

– Public transport from Yverdon-les-Bains will take you comfortably to Les Rasses (train Yverdon-les-Bains – Ste-Croix then bus line 615 to Les Rasses).
– Timetable: 6 waves of departures scheduled: 8.30am – 9.00am / 9.00am – 9.30am / 9.30am – 10.00am / 10.00am – 10.30am / 10.30am – 11.00am / 11.00am – 11.30am. Please indicate your preference when booking. The exact time will be confirmed by email when you book.

– Payment: Payment details will be communicated to you via the booking confirmation email. Payment is by bank transfer or TWINT.
– Booking: Places are limited. No on-site registration. To register, send an e-mail to ot@sainte-croix.ch or call 079.378.37.91. When booking, please include your contact details, the number of participants and your preferred departure time. If you wish to reserve a bike, please specify your size. Registration closes at midnight on Sunday 16 June.
– Cancellation: This gourmet walk takes place in all weathers. Should the weather conditions prevent the event from taking place in acceptable safety conditions, you will be informed by email by Tuesday 18 June at the latest and a full refund will be given.
– Entry requirements: The 22-kilometre route has a positive difference in altitude of 740 metres. It is therefore particularly suitable for users of electrically-assisted bicycles. The Gourmet Ride is therefore open to everyone aged 16 and over (14 and over for holders of a moped licence). Participants are responsible for their own equipment and must be individually insured against accidents. Participants must comply with road traffic regulations. The organisers accept no liability for accidents, theft or damage. Participants are strongly advised to wear suitable safety equipment and helmets.
