Born at the beginning of the 20th century, gospel music has its roots in Negro spirituals and has incorporated elements of blues and jazz over time.
The term ‘gospel’ comes from English and means ‘good news’. It has its origins in the sacred songs created by African slaves in the United States.
The Ekklésia choir from Écublens will enchant us and get us singing along as Christmas approaches.
Mulled wine will be served in the castle courtyard after the concert.
