Currently in residence at Henosis, the Arev Duduk ensemble invites you to discover the duduk, Armenia’s iconic instrument.

A trip to Armenia: a day dedicated to the duduk

ㅤ
As part of its residency at Henosis, the Arev Duduk Ensemble, led by Michèle Lubicz, invites you to immerse yourself in this exceptional musical world.
ㅤ
An introductory session to discover the duduk from 4 pm to 6 pm: anyone who wishes to do so can try their hand at playing the duduk.
ㅤ
Understanding before listening: At 7.30 pm, just before the concert, the musicians will give a short talk on the duduk.
ㅤ
The concert: a journey to the heart of Armenian music At 8.30 pm, the Arev Duduk Ensemble will present the results of their residency.
Listed as part of UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage, the musical tradition of the duduk continues to resonate with audiences far beyond Armenia today.

Practical information

Terms and conditions for taking part in the introductory workshop (2 hours) – 30 CHF
ㅤ
ㅤ
Please bring your own duduk or buy one on the day (275 CHF).
Instruments can be borrowed for the workshop.
However, you must bring your own reed (60 CHF), as these cannot be lent out for hygiene reasons
