The Musée de la mécanique d’art et du patrimoine de Sainte-Croix (MuMAPS) is the result of the merger of three museums in Sainte-Croix-L’Auberson: the Centre international de la mécanique d’art (CIMA), the Musée des arts et des sciences (MAS) and the Musée Baud.
Its collections comprise some 15,000 objects illustrating the region’s heritage, from Neolithic times to the present day, as well as the local and international development of art mechanics.
The museum offers three exhibitions: two permanent ones – “Once upon a time on Sainte-Croix” and “Art mechanics: the factory of dreams”, and a temporary one renewed each year.
