Outdoor life in the mountains, in contact with the wilderness and pastures of the Jura, has shaped the approach of the artists in this exhibition.
François Duruz’s paintings pay homage to those moments when our gaze on the horizon is transformed into contemplation. Light and colour become pretexts for recalling the profound meaning of existence.
Carolo creates hybrid creatures, halfway between man and animal, born of her love of cows. To do this, she uses an unusual material: cow dung.
Her creations exude a primitive force that makes them almost alive.
