On Sunday 30 August 2026, the municipalities of Sainte-Croix (CH) and Les Fourgs (FR) invite the public to take part in the ‘Balade Gourmande du Contrebandier’, a convivial 11-kilometre walk combining gastronomic discoveries, heritage and the landscapes of the Jura Arc.ㅤ
This walk will feature five gourmet stops, allowing you to discover the rich local produce of both countries. Immerse yourself in the bounty of local producers whilst admiring the characteristic landscapes of the Franco-Swiss Jura region.

The route will take you on both sides of the border, offering a friendly and festive experience. It’s also an opportunity to (re)discover the Sentier des Bornes.

Start and finish: Coupe visitor centre, Les Fourgs (France). Free car park.ㅤ

Times: Start at any time between 9.00 am and 11.00 am.

– Route: approximately 11 kilometres, 240 m elevation gain. The route crosses both Swiss and French territory, so it is important to carry proof of identity.

– Price: CHF 28 per adult, CHF 18 per child (aged 6–15), free for children under 6.
