Les Concerts de Romainmôtier invites audiences on musical journeys enhanced by the unique acoustics of a medieval abbey church. These journeys explore the vast repertoire of the Christian tradition, spanning past and present, and drawing from both local and international sources.
Founded in 2015 by cornetto player François Cardey, the Agamemnon ensemble comprises musicians driven by a desire to rediscover the Italian and Germanic repertoires of the 17th century.
In order to highlight forgotten musical masterpieces, Agamemnon weaves strong thematic links between literature, poetry, music and staging in each of its productions.
