Özgür Baba is a musician and singer of traditional Turkish music who plays the cura bağlama, the smallest and one of the oldest instruments in the bağlama family. Inspired by the verses of great Sufi and mystical poets such as Yunus Emre, Imadaddin Nasimi, Ismail I and Niyazi Misri, his music spans the centuries, weaving poetry and melody into a shared space where time, memory and experience merge into a single presence.
