Organist Paul Goussot will accompany this silent film from 1929, one of the first versions of ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’, based on Victor Hugo’s novel Notre-Dame de Paris.
A professional screening in the Yvonand temple with side screens allowing the audience to see the organist’s hands at work as the story unfolds. The Yvonand temple will be darkened for the first time to ensure the best possible viewing conditions. This concert opens the 2025-2026 season of ‘Pleins-Jeux’ concerts, which will include five concerts and possibly an additional summer concert for the Fête de la Musique!

The concert, like all ‘Pleins-Jeux’ concerts, is free to attend, with a collection taken at the exit. As this production depends on the length of the film, it will be a little longer than usual. We therefore recommend bringing a cushion, as church pews can be somewhat uncomfortable…
