The marmot is one of the most iconic representatives of mountain wildlife. Usually found in the Alps, it can also be found around some of the peaks of the Jura, including Chasseron.
This circular walk starting from Les Rasses will take you to meet the various marmot colonies that have found refuge on the slopes of this iconic mountain in the Vaud Jura.
It will also take you through a forest reserve with enchanting atmospheres and immerse you in the rich history of this region, which has been explored for over two millennia.
