As part of the centenary celebrations of the Association des Organistes Romands, organ tours and concerts will be held on 28 and 29 June in French-speaking Switzerland.
In Yverdon-les-Bains, on Sunday 29 June, the public will be able to discover the great organs of the temple from 2 pm and 3.30 pm.
Featuring three manuals, a pedalboard and 2,600 pipes, the instrument is housed in a baroque case dating from 1767, richly decorated with gilding and listed as a historic monument. Unquestionably the finest piece of furniture in the temple, it promises a striking demonstration of a living heritage.
