On this first Sunday in spring, you’ll head for the River Nozon, to the heart of the awakening forest. The sun will activate the energy of the flora and you’ll discover the wealth of different trees that populate this valley.
You’ll cross the old stone quarries of Grand Chanay, the birthplace of the fountain basins that now grace many of the villages of the canton of Vaud. We’ll then head for the famous Dard waterfall, a 20-metre cascade that will refresh us before heading off to the Abbey Church of Romainmôtier.
– Departure from La Sarraz station at 10:20 and return to Croy-Romainmôtier station at around 16:30.
